Drifting Gypsies Is The Clothing Line For Free Spirits

Something special happens when you travel. You uproot your life and yourself to leave your soul open to the world, trusting in the process. While you might not remember every single detail of the trip years afterwards, key clothing items will take you right back to that time and place. Drifting Gypsies makes it possible to have that feeling at all times.

If you love to travel or ever just love the idea of living freely, Drifting Gypsies is the clothing line for you. The brand encapsulates everything that traveling means into select clothing items. It allows you to wear that feeling wherever you go — no matter how big or small the journey.

The brand currently offers t-shirts, tank tops, and crew necks, which are their latest edition, through their online website. Each one has a different saying on it, from “love her, but leave her wild” to “most are born with roots where I have wings.” The items can easily translate into just about anyone’s life.

It’s not just about the look though. Drifting Gypsies is about being a part of something bigger than yourself, whether that’s traveling or just supporting the women. It doesn’t hurt that the designs are comfy and on-trend, either.

I’m not the most well-traveled or adventurous person in the world, but this clothing line resonates with me. That’s what’s so special about this brand. It was created by two twenty-somethings, Becca Martin and Alex Brown, who have a love for adventure. They put themselves and their spirit into each design, which makes the collection small, but mighty.

Drifting Gypsies

This company might just be a small brand, but it has had one heck of a journey — pun intended. Originally, the women thought that they would start a travel blog. They already had the spirit and drive, so it quickly evolved into an e-commerce brand as well. While the site does offer a blog portion of their website, it’s the clothing that offer the ability to have their message jump off the screen and into your life.

“I think we’re both writers at heart who have travel in their bones so it all just made sense,” Brown says.

I first found out about Drifting Gypsies through a Facebook post. Martin and I used to write on an online publication, so we were friends on social media. She started posting about this new venture of her life. The more I looked into it, the more curious I got.

Drifting Gypsies

There’s something so relatable about the line. It makes you feel like you’re a part of something greater than you. Every millennial loves to adventure and travel, but this collection goes further than that and delivers the spirit. The sayings will resonate with you all day long. When you combine that with the comfortable fit and style of the clothing, you have the perfect road trip, airport, or just plain lounge-around items.

Drifting Gypsies started out only offing tanks and tees, but has expanded in the past few months. In addition to their original designs, the brand also offers mugs and crew necks as well. The best part is that every single item is kept affordable, so you can stock up on items and still have enough money for your next adventure.

I think it’s important to note that they’re moving outside of just the clothing industry and into home-wear. While not every brand can make that transition smoothly, it’s so natural for Drifting Gypsies. Each item makes you feel comfortable. You don’t just want them you need them around on whatever adventure you’re on.

At the end of the day, it’s not just about the clothing. It’s the people who stand behind the screens that take a company from good to great. These women have a passion for traveling, and you notice that right off the bat. This line is so comforting, from the words on the blog to the the ones hat they chose for their clothing. It all just makes sense.

“We really want to inspire other women to go after their passions and not give up when things get hard,” Martin says.

I know that I typically stick to eco-friendly and thrifted items on my blog, but this company was just too great not to share. Supporting women-owned businesses is a huge passion of mine. I rather buy from someone who works hard and is living their dream than a fast fashion company. Plus you can’t find these incredible prints anywhere else.

Drifting Gypsies currently ships to the US and Canada. They’ve also been incredible enough to offer a coupon code for all of you coming from my blog, which is incredible nice of them.

Just use the code KALI10 to get ten percent off of your order!

Please let me know if you guys end up buying from this brand. I wholeheartedly love what this brand stands for and the message that they give to their customers. I’d love for you to leave some names of other women-owned brands in the comment section. I’m always looking for new, inspiring brands to buy from.
