I am a holiday freak of nature. Believe it or not, I had all of my holiday shopping done before December. I just genuinely love gifting. The best part is that now that all the gifts are done, I can shop a little for myself. That also means that I can find the best holiday beauty sets for you. It’s an all-around win!
There are tons of different holiday beauty sets out there. The collections are insane and often filled with tons of sparkle, trendy colors, and off-the-wall packaging. That’s just not my jam. I tend to gravitate more to simple sets that introduce me to new brands. The way I see it, there’s no better time to take advantage of all the samples than around the holidays.
When Fresh reached out to me about their holiday collection, I knew I had to give them a try. People rave about Fresh’s products, but I hadn’t yet gotten to try any. The brand’s lip balm is pretty much a staple in the beauty community. I’ve heard amazing things about their cleansers too. Bottom line: I was thrilled to get the chance to test them out.
Their holiday beauty sets are the perfect way to test out the line. Most of them offer a variety of deluxe and sample sized items, so that you get a little taste of everything. They were kind enough to send me a skincare set and one specifically for the lips.
I was super excited to try the Sugar Lip Lovelies set. I have always heard incredible things about their balms, but I could never get myself to spend $20 on a chapstick. Luckily, I got to test out a mini size, plus two other lip staples for way less.
The holiday beauty set comes with a mini Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment, Sugar Lip Polish, and Sugar Nourishing Lip Balm Advanced Therapy. Basically, a scrub, balm, and chapstick. Not to mention that it comes in an adorable little popper-shaped box.
The Sugar Lip Lovelies set is $26.
That breaks down to about $8.60 per item, which is more than fair for these items. I love every single one of these products I actually already ordered another lip balm in full size. People aren’t joking when they say that this product is amazing. It hydrates the lips without leaving them all flaky and chapped.
The second set is for all of the skincare lovers out there. Facial On The Fly has their raved about Soy Face Cleanser, Rose Face Mask, and Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream. In the winter, my skin gets extremely dry, so I was worried about trying a new skincare routine with the cold weather in full swing. These products didn’t even need a transition period. The first day I used these products I fell in love.
While I won’t be investing in the cleanser until my others run out, I have decided that the face cream is worth the splurge. It hydrates the face without feeling greasy. It also sinks into the skin nicely without clogging pores. What more can you ask for?
The Facial On The Fly Set is $26 as well.
The only part of the set that was kind if “meh” for me was the mask. Don’t get me wrong, it was a lovely mask. I just feel like all rose masks are kind of the same. They don’t excite me, which is just a personal preference.
Overall, I’d say that these are the perfect gifts for anyone on your list. They’re general enough to be good for all beauty lovers, but personalized enough to be their own little spa day. Plus you really can’t beat the price. Out of all the holiday beauty sets that I’ve tried, Fresh’s are definitely in my top three for the season.
I’d love to hear if you guys have tried any Fresh products yourself. Please leave any and all recommendations below!
