The Way U’s Bags Are The Summer Staple You’ve Been Missing

Can you see a theme with this week yet? I’ve been very into neons lately, which is very unlike myself. Normally, I stick to the same black, white, and grey color scheme all year ’round. The Way U’s bags have changed that for me. Between the color and size of the bags and purposeful message behind this brand, it’s stolen my heart.

The Way U was nice enough to send me two bags to use on vacation. I used one as a in-car store-it-all and another to take out with me around town. I have never gotten more questions about where I’ve gotten a bag in my life.

I’ve never been one to carry around a colorful bag. One look at my bag collection and you’ll see a lot of brown, back, and white. I found that there’s something liberating about carrying a bright pink or blue bag from The Way U, and I’m not turning back.

The Way U Pink And Blue

Before I get into how amazing these bags are, you have to hear about the brand. The founder of The Way U has set up the company to give women in Colombia work. Every single item is hand-made, which give women work. Then it goes even further to donate 10 percent of profits to fund children’s schooling, medical bills, food, and other living expenses. Basically, it’s a bag you won’t feel bad about buying.

The Way U Pink

Anything with big tassels has my name all over it, so I was very happy to receive this bag. It’s impossible not to smile when you see this bag. But what I really love about this tote is how much it holds. I’m not even joking, this thing held my entire life on vacation. I put inside my iPad, snacks for the trip, all my chargers, my wallet, and it still had room.

The Way U Pink And Blue

The amazing carrying power was something I found about both bags. The Way U’s bags might not have tons of pockets or pouches, but they carry everything you could need and more. You know that bag that Hermione carries in Harry Potter? You know, the one that she can pull anything out of. That’s exactly what these bags are like.

The Way U Blue

I took the blue one out with me during the day and the night. The color might be bright, but in the summer you can get away with all the bright hues. Like I said before, I got so many questions about this bag. It was incredible. People were stopping my left and right. Of course, I only had amazing things to say.

The Way U Pink

The brand doesn’t just have slouch-styled bags, either. The Way U makes gorgeous clutches and smaller coin purses as well. You really can’t go wrong with any of their items. Especially not when you’re giving back at the same time. These are items that you won’t feel bad about buying. Take that, spending ban!
